Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly...and Handmade Gifts! A Very Merry Market Descends on Reaver Beach

The most wonderful time of the year has arrived in our city on the water! Reaver Beach's beloved holiday market, A Very Merry Market, returns on December 9th from 12-6pm for a joyful afternoon of shopping local, sipping seasonal beverages, and soaking up the festive feels.

Get ready to cross everyone off your gift list at this free admission indoor/outdoor market boasting over 50 vendors of magical handmade and locally designed goods. From artisan jewelry and pottery to all-natural self-care products, pet treats, vintage wares, and beyond, the selection truly has something delightful for all of your family and friends. Santa himself will even make a dog-friendly appearance from 1-3pm for free photos! (BYO Camera)

When you need a break from the bustle, warm up with a tasty bite from Flippin' Hangry or The Potato Peeps, sip a special release brownie stout beer “Under the Black”, and let sweet tunes from local bands Fox and the Bear and After the Foxes serenade you. Before you leave, grab donation-based gift wrapping services benefitting Edmarc Children’s Hospice.  

The full vendor lineup is specially curated by the Reaver team and includes many familiar faces plus exciting new makers we can’t wait to meet. Discover uncommon treasures like one of kind artworks, mushroom earrings, fragranced soy candles, pet presents, macrame plant hangers, spices, coffee ...we could go on and on!

On top of that, Reaver Beach is hosting 3 donation drives through next week. Donating patrons can even get a beer discount! The drives include ForKids (Toy Drive), Armed Services YMCA (holiday meal drive), and Norfolk Animals (Animal Supply Drive).

Food, brews, shopping, photo ops, donations drives, and live music - now that’s packed out Saturday. So pull on your ugly holiday sweater, gather up friends and family, and grab a slice of the hometown holiday magic at A Very Merry Market!
